Hillary Clinton delivers with Speech
Great speech. I think she did what she had to in terms of uniting the party. I still think she would have been the strongest choice for VP.

You mean she would have been strongest Democrat candidate for president don't you? If she were vice president the president might meet an untimely end and she would take over as president. Sorry but there are too many dead bodies in her wake to trust her any where near the office of the POTUS.
I have a sense of uncertainty about how this will all play out by November. I used to think that Obama had it in the bag, but I'm not so sure now.
There seems to be some sort of odd "Obama Fatigue" in America. It doesn't make any sense, and the DNC isn't helping it either.
The 'Obama fatigue' is something most Canadains would not understand. He is a light-weight candidate with no accomplishments and no executive experience.
American voters are a lot more discerning than Canadians in who they entrust to run the nation.
Despite what the so-called 'pundits' et al seem to think.
For all of Obama's speeches, he hasn't said anything with substance. It's one thing to use lofty words, it's quite another to present a vision of where he wishes to lead America going into the future.
The problem for Obama is that he's never led anyone in the past. He has no executive experience. He said his toughest decision was his stance on the Iraq War, which he didn't even vote on! He couldn't answer when he believes human life begins.
Take away his telepromters and you're left with very little. A socialist in a suit who happens to be black.
If Obama had chosen Hillary as V.P., he gets two for the price of one. He does not want that. Furthermore if I was an American voter the last person I would want in the White House is Bill Clinton. I do not think that Hillary's speech, while saying get behind Obama, did him any favours. The reason being , in MHO, is because the last thing the Clinton's want is Obama as Pres. As Pres., Obama has a four year term and the option of another four years, which I think he will go for, that puts Hillary et.al in an 8 year colling off period, she will be 53 in October, so we are now looking at 61 before she gets another try. On the other hand if Obama looses, in four years time she can seek the nomination, and you can be sure she will say "look I told you so". It will be interesting to hear what Slick Willie has to say tonight......argee
